Update - IKEA Canada temporarily suspends Click & Collect store pick-up nationwide
March 25, 2020
As the situation with COVID-19 evolves day-to-day, our top priority during these challenging times continues to be the health and safety of our co-workers, customers and communities.
After careful consideration, IKEA has decided to temporarily suspend its store Click & Collect pick-up service across Canada, effective at end of business day on Wednesday, March 25th.
We are closely monitoring the situation and base this decision and ongoing actions on recommendations from the Public Health Agency of Canada and relevant local health authorities.
IKEA continues to take preventative measures to help contain the spread of COVID-19, including proactively closing our store locations to customers nationwide on March 18, 2020, rigorous cleaning and sanitization in all units and new operating procedures which ensure social distancing principles are followed.
For customer convenience, IKEA will remain open online at IKEA.ca and the IKEA app, offering home delivery service nationwide.
Customers with pending Click & Collect orders will be contacted by IKEA Customer Service to coordinate alternative arrangements.
We look forward to welcoming customers back to our store locations soon and we thank you for your understanding.
